Larry Gambetti is an attorney with the firm whose background includes bankruptcy, probate and estate matters, local government, and tax controversy. He brings a tax-focused perspective, attention to detail, and a practical approach to solving legal issues.

Before law school, Larry graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a minor in Innovation, and a Certificate in International Relations. He began his legal career as an intern with the Broward County Attorney’s Office before gaining experience as a bankruptcy paralegal and law clerk, assisting with matters involving consumer bankruptcy, insurance defense, probate administration, and estate and trust litigation.

Larry earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University College of Law, graduating with honors and a Certificate in Tax Law. During law school, he received CALI Book Awards in Conflicts of Laws, Partnership Taxation, and Tax Clinic. He also served as Executive Editor of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and President of the International Law Society.

While attending law school, Larry participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program as an IRS-certified Client Intake Specialist. In that role, he assisted low-income individuals and families with the tax return preparation process by interviewing clients, reviewing tax documentation, and coordinating communications among clients, tax preparers, and program site coordinators. He further developed his tax experience through the Tax Clinic, where he worked on federal tax controversy and collection matters involving individual taxpayers.

Larry’s interest in tax law ultimately led him back to the University of Florida, where he earned a Master of Laws in Taxation. He is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal issues with careful analysis, practical advice, and sound judgment.
